Let’s celebrate Environment Day by spending some time in nature. Join us for a walk through Danehy Park to learn a bit about the wisdom of trees and forests. This educational walk will explore research by Suzanne Simard and Peter Wohlleben on the collaborative and intelligent aspects of nature. We will also feature a mindful meditation practice to connect us with ourselves and each other. For those interested, you are welcome to join us at Gran Gusto after the event.
We will meet outside of the Porter Square T Station (the entrance on Mass Ave.). We will be at the T Station as of 2:45pm. Meeting time is 3:00 pm. We will start walking to Danehy Park at 3:05pm. Thank you for arriving early to ensure a timely start.
At the conclusion of the event we will be going to Gran Gusto (restaurant adjacent to the park) for beverages.
Wear appropriate footwear for walking. Bring water and sunscreen. Expected rain date: Sunday, June 5th. Please check back for updates in the case of rain.
Please call us for any questions or text us if you are running late: 617-902-0850.
