PYO Tulips at Ward's Berry Farm!

Peak Season begins Saturday 4/27! Over 250,000 bulbs in over 100 varieties 🌷

This week’s sun is making the tulips pop, and the field is filling in with more and more color each day! By Saturday 4/27, we expect peak season conditions! At least 50% of the field will be in full bloom, with 100+ colors/varieties of tulips available for picking, including some double and parrot varieties! In addition to tulips in full bloom, there are plenty of tulips in “color bud” stage; they show hints of the color they will be when they open. This is the ideal stage to harvest tulips for the longest vase life at home!

RESERVATIONS FOR PYO TULIPS.

Our pick-your-own tulip event is more than just a chance to pick tulips; we invite you to stroll through the tulip fields to take in the exquisite scenery and capture beautiful photos! In addition to the picking area, we have a special photo garden within the tulip patch featuring dense patches of blooming daffodils and tulips. There are benches and other props you can use to capture perfect photos. Each ticket includes a hayride to and from the tulip patch, where you have access to the pick-your-own area and the photo garden.

To prevent crowding and overpicking, we will only open a few days at a time for booking. Please visit our website to check current availability.

• Everyone entering the tulip patch must have a ticket.
• All tickets include hayride to the tulip patch and back.
• All tickets must be purchased online. You cannot purchase at the farm.

Where to Go

When you arrive at the farm follow the signs to the PYO tent in the plant courtyard (next to the sandbox). Present your QR code to check in and receive your jar(s).

• Appropriate clothing (we operate rain or shine)

PYO Rules

• Walking around in undesignated areas is not permitted.
• Picking daffodils and tulips in the photo garden is not permitted. This area is for admiration and photos only!
• Touch the plants as little as possible. Do not touch any plants that you do not plan to pick.
• No pets (except certified handicapped assistance animals) are allowed on the farm property.
• The farm closes at 7:00 PM. All visitors must vacate the property promptly by this time.
• The farm manager reserves the right to close the fields at any time because of weather, picking conditions, or other factors. In the case that Ward’s cancels your reservation, a full refund will be issued.
