Where do animals go in the winter? Do they sleep or do they remain active? Join a BNC teacher naturalist at Dorchester Park to learn all about how animals live in the winter. Participants will go on a nature walk to look for animal homes in the wild and use found natural materials to create their very own winter animal homes.
We will meet at the Dorchester Ave entrance, near St. Gregory Church. Street parking is available, and buses 12, 15, 24, 217 & 240 stop nearby. Please call 617-983-8500 for directions.
This program will be held entirely outdoors, so please bring rain and cold weather gear as needed. In the case of inclement, every effort will be made to reschedule the event.
PLEASE NOTE: This program will be conducted in accordance with current Municipal, State, and Mass Audubon Covid-19 protocols. Groups are limited to 20 pre-registered children and adults. Participants are required to wear a face covering indoors and follow social distancing guidelines.
