Watertown Pride

Watertown Pride 2024: Loud, Proud, Island-Bound is an inclusive, all-ages event that celebrates our LGBTQIA+ communities. We hope you can join us for a beach-inspired afternoon of community building and fun!

It is free and open to everyone on Sunday, June 2, 2024 from 12 to 5pm.

The event kicks off with a parade at noon that will begin at Moxley parking lot and travel along the Watertown Community Path to a festival at Saltonstall Park. 

12:00PM - Parade begins at Moxley and follows Linear Path to Saltonstall Field. Plan to meet at the Moxley parking lot at 11:45am or join in along the parade route. The parade will be led by City of Watertown department gators (utility vehicles) and our DJ with equipment on wheels!

12:30PM - Welcome and Community Art Project reveal then the festivities begin!

Includes: 

-live entertainment (DJ and performances)

-photo station

-Kids' Zone (with sand and bubbles)

-face painting

-beachball volleyball and other games with Watertown Recreation staff

-food trucks and tiki mocktail cash bar

-free popsicles and popcorn

1:00PM - Glitter bar applications begin (free and open to 4pm)

4:00PM - Foam Party until 5pm

(no need to change into a bathing suit - wearing your regular clothing is fine, but we suggest bringing a towel!)
