Both Artists share a sense of studio process. Jeffrey Nowlin: Good Fat, the artist’s debut solo exhibition at Boston Sculptors Gallery, features sculpture and collage representing a range of material processes and a ritual-like approach to artistic creation. Good Fat references the complicated satisfaction that derives from manual fabrication. 


Boston Sculptors Gallery also presents Offshoot, Marilu Swett’s solo show of recent sculpture and drawings. Offshoot refers both to growth patterns in vegetation, as well as the studio process itself, where the manipulation of materials and ideas propagate new work.
