Lougee continues her material investigation of post-consumer plastic debris, creating poetic dialogues about the divinity of nature and the persistence of waste. In Sanctity of Nature, Michelle Lougee offers a series of dystopian reliquaries, pairing natural objects with transformed plastic in uncanny collections displayed as altars.


Svoronos’ work posits a series of intimate interactive encounters that bring viewers together; where communication and collaboration is essential to the art experience and our differences and disagreements no longer matter. In a culture increasingly divided by media, beliefs and politics, “Better Together” pushes back against the progressively extreme, reactionary conversation surrounding our contemporary American culture.
