Are you passionate about technology, education, startups, and entrepreneurship? If so, come participate in the inaugural EDU focused Startup Weekend in Boston! You'll gain real experience building a company that addresses real-world problems from scratch, discover your passions, make a difference in the Boston education community, and meet local makers and do-ers.


On November 21-23, join us at General Assembly's office at WeWork Labs Fort Point where over 100 educators, students, developers, designers, and other professionals will be coming together to pitch an idea focused on solving the most pressing problems in education, building a product and laying out a business plan, and presenting their startup to a panel of elite judges in just 54 hours. You do not need to pitch in order to join a team. This event is meant for people to work on new ideas together - projects with significant work done (prototyping, MVP) should not be pitched.


Startup Weekend is a non-profit organization that supports the development and expansion of entrepreneurship through events worldwide that educate aspiring entrepreneurs by immersing them in the process of moving an idea to market. Startup Weekend has built a network of more than 100,000 alumni, thousands of volunteer Organizers and more than 100 trained facilitators spanning more than 400 cities in more than 100 countries.
