Shuly Nathan in Concert at TBA!
TBA begins its commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the Six-Day War with Shuly Nathan and story of "Jerusalem of Gold"!

Shuly Nathan was born to a long family line of artists and musicians. Her fame came overnight, when songwriter and composer Naomi Shemer demanded that Shuly sing at the Israeli annual Independence Day song contest held in Jerusalem. Naomi's song's name was "Jerusalem of Gold". Two weeks later, the Six-Day War (1967) broke out and the song became the hymn and prayer of that war, especially the yearning for Jerusalem to be free and reunited.

Shuly tours the USA, Canada, and Europe annually. She conducts her performances in Hebrew, English, French, and Spanish. As a beloved singer, Shuly is known to have people join her in singing, and to enjoy her wonderful story telling about the songs and their bond to the birth and growing nation of Israel.

Concert at Temple Beth Abraham, 4 Raymond St, Nashua, NH. phone 603-883-8184. Web: http://www.tbanashua.org. RSVP requested. Call or go online for tickets.
