This structured 8 week course will guide you in an in-depth exploration of sexual liberation, from your personal sexual empowerment to fighting for sexual justice on a societal level. Open to queer folks, 18+.

Class Description

This interactive small group class will create a nonjudgmental space to explore the meaning of sexual liberation, both on a personal and societal level. You will be guided in challenging internalized shame and homophobia and instead celebrating the incredible diversity of sexuality. With consent and justice at the forefront, this will be a trauma informed space of growth. You will leave this course with new ideas for how you can be active (and effective!) as queer folks in the movement for sexual justice.


This course will guide you through:

⋆ Unlearning internalized sexual repression and homophobia

⋆ Getting to know your authentic sexual self

⋆ Understanding sexual oppression as a system of oppression (including and beyond homophobia and transphobia)

⋆ Considering how you can be a part of the movement for sexual justice

⋆ Making a zine to share uncensored sexual liberation stories, ideas, and information


Session topics include:

⋆ What does sexual liberation look like?

⋆ Stories of sexual oppression, repression, and growth

⋆ Your authentic sexual self

⋆ Fake no orgasms: Advocating for your pleasure

⋆ Queer as freedom

⋆ Liberation for all

⋆ Making sexual liberation zines
