WHAT: As the age-old saying goes, “sharing is caring,” and on Thursday, November 3rd, 2016, Pauli’s, the neighborhood sandwich shop located in Boston’s North End, is celebrating National Sandwich Day with “Send a Sandwich,” allowing customers to call ahead and pre-pay for a sandwich order to send to that special someone.
Famous for their “wicked fresh” ingredients and “crazy good” taste, Pauli’s has the new North End flavor, with the original North End feel. With original sandwiches like the Super Mario with meatballs topped with provolone cheese, mozzarella sticks and grated Romano cheese on a long French sub roll ($11.99), Mama Lucca with chicken cutlet, cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes and ranch dressing ($7.49) and the Fat Felix with ½lb shaved steak, grilled onions, peppers, mushrooms, American cheese, 2 strips of bacon and topped with cheese fries ($13.99), no one will go hungry on National Sandwich Day. If a lighter lunch is the usual, try the Skinny Vinny with eggplant, fresh mozzarella, roasted red peppers and pesto sauce ($7.99), or the California Wrap with grilled chicken, fresh avocado, mixed greens, tomatoes, cucumber and chipotle mayo ($7.49).
