Savenor’s Butcher and Market is now offering a monthly whole animal meat share. The concept is simple: we source a whole animal from a local farm, split it up amongst a group of people, and utilize every part of the animal.


For May we are offering Berkshire Pork from Heritage Grazers in Bridport, VT. These pigs are fed a grass/hay diet supplemented with whey from local cheese makers, all natural grains, and local produce. Each animal is about 240lb split among 8 people. Along with fresh cuts, you will recieve house-made stocks, rendered fats, and charcuterie.


Enjoy three weeks of meat!
May 9 pickup: Whole animal breakdown demo starting at 2PM - take home fresh meat cuts including chops, shoulder, tenderloin medallions & more.
May 16 pickup: Pork lard, stock & sausages.
May 23 pickup: House-made head cheese, paté & cured + smoked bacon.


Shares may be picked up in either of our locations. Please contact us if you would like to pickup your share at our Boston store on Beacon Hill.
