AERONAUT PRESENTS: ReUse: a Clothing Swap and Donation Event
Kondo your closet and bring your gently used (and LAUNDERED!) items to Aeronaut to swap with others!
We will have several tables set up as swapping surfaces organized by garment type (jacket, pant, accessory, etc)
In the spirit of any good potluck, if you plan on taking clothes home, please plan to bring some clothes to swap or donate.
All clothing left at the end of the event will be donated to Boomerangs.
This event is part of ReVision: a Community Sustainability Series, organized by Aeronaut Brewing Co.
The garment industry is one of the most polluting industries, and this impact has been fast-tracked by the rise of fast fashion. Switch up your style by re-using clothing, and by making them your own!
What can we do individually about pollution caused by the garment industry?
Buy fewer clothes (swap!), recycle or donate your clothing, and mending your clothing can help reduct the impact of the garment industry on pollution.
