This annual event is a collision of poetry & art — an ekphrastic descent into the(mad, mad, mad, very mad) place where the visual meets the word. Poets Joe Nardoni, Sean Thibodeau, Norman DeFilippo & Stephan Anstey respond to the 'Visual Language' show hanging in the Loading Dock Gallery at Western Avenue Studios in Lowell.


Several artists from the show, the public, and the poets will engage in a discussion after the poets have read, this is not only an opportunity for questions an answers, but also a chance to engage in a deeper dialogue about the themes of the show, the artist process and how artists from different mediums approach, understand and react to each other's work.
