My next 12-week Outpatient virtual BIPoC DBT group starts January 18th 2023! This group will run every Wednesday from 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm EST until February 14th, 2023.


This group is open to MA residents who are 18+ and identify as Black, Indigenous, or a Person of Color. All participants must have an individual therapist and access to Zoom. In this group, we discuss how to use Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills specifically for micro/macro-aggressions, internalized oppression, intersectional stressors, code-switching, cultural stigmas around mental health, daily/increased exposure to racially charged violence in media, and racial trauma. I use a decolonized framework, including cultural humility and culture-centered empathy, to teach the application of DBT.
