A 5 day improv class for grades 6-9 , hosted by Newton Community Education.
THE CLASS
Explore thematic games to create comedic and dramatic scenes, without a script! Build characters, think quickly, and throw all self and peer judgement away! No improv or acting experience is required and the session will end with a student showcase for friends and family!

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Shiyanbade Animashaun is a creative and tech consultant. She enjoys solving complex problems and influencing people positively. She is the founder of KEAJO, a consulting firm primarily focused on solving problems for technical teams, with a unique mix of services and tools that blend technology, art, and education. Also Shiyanbade is a founding member of The Nova Comedy Collective, Via ImprovBoston, Catalyst Comedy, the Women in Comedy Festival, and more. She has performed in various corporate training, resident and indie improv casts. Shiyanbade has worked in storytelling / sketch teams, musicals, podcasts, and video productions. She has directed, produced, and taught various improv casts and has led executive training sessions, workshops and classes for 5000+ individuals of all ages.
