Design Museum Mornings with Mike Benning, Hanger Clinic , Inc.
Design Museum Mornings is a monthly event series brought to you by Design Museum Boston. This event is meant to inspire you before your day begins and bring you closer to the Design Museum Boston community.
In March we invite Mike Benning to be your speaker. At only 14 years old, Mike Benning had his left arm amputated below the elbow after a harrowing experience with an aggressive form of childhood cancer. Since then, Mike has worn a wide range of prosthetic devices.
Mike will share his prosthetic journey and explain how prosthetic design has not only improved his functionality, but also how public perception has changed with the evolution of his prosthetic devices. In addition to breakfast, March’s Design Museum Mornings will also include demonstrator devices, available for attendees to try.
Members of the Design Museum attend the event for FREE! Become a member to enjoy many more Museum Mornings starting at just $5/month.
The event is open to the general public, follow link to purchase tickets: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/my-bionic-hand-tickets-42533300246?aff=affiliate1
Hope to see you there!
