A new dance night for Boston’s Gay [and Allies] community. A safe place to mingle, meet people and destroy the dancefloor at Bella Luna/Milky Way in JP.
LUV is the newest gay and allies dance night in Boston, happening every third Friday of the month at Bella Luna/Milky Way.
Resident DJ James Derek Dwyer's (Plastique, Boyfriends) melodious upbeat house meshes with DJ Math3ca's (DADT, Fascination) edgier, club shaking selections for a night of fun with all t no shade. According to JDD, "Math3ca and I are kindred spirits in the energy of this kind of night. We love to make people feel themselves in the music. It's a kind of freedom."
LUV is themed and curated by the two with an ear for the future which may include bootlegs and sound cloud remixes in addition to legit dance floor fillers. "For every LUV, (we) aim to bring something new, something familiar, something fun, and something wild. Vanilla is non-existent." says DJ Math3ca,
Future LUV will feature Boston area drag stars & decade centric themes. For Math3ca : "LUV is about playing my absolute favorite music for the people. My goal is to create more love on the dance floor, in their ears, in their souls, and in their lives. Given the current world around us, we all need it."
