Kier Byrnes & The Kettle Burners x March 28 at The Burren
Fresh off scoring Americana Artist of the Year at the 2025 Boston Music Awards, Kier Byrnes & The Kettle Burners bring their high-octane cocktail of chicken-pickin’ electric guitar and face-melting accordion to The Burren in Somerville on Saturday, March 28.
The tireless sextet share the stage with panoramic indie-folk songwriter and storyteller Billy Dodge Moody, who released the brilliant “Ephemera” EP last year, selected by WBUR, Boston’s NPR, as one of the most anticipated New England records that summer, and Boston Americana songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Luke Curran.
The show arrives just as The Kettle Burners unleash “Moonshine & Other Spirits” (out March 27), a lively new EP led by feisty single “My Baby’s Happy,” featuring award-winning country artist Elisa Smith.
