Celebrate the vitality of independent bookstores with Papercuts! We'll have limited-edition bookish merchandise, mimosas, cake, and plenty of books!


Min Jin Lee, the amazing and completely delightful New York Times bestselling author of FREE FOOD FOR MILLIONAIRES and PACHINKO will sell books with Papercuts staffers on the floor from 10am -1pm, and from 3pm - 6pm!


Then at 7pm, join us at La Rana Rossa for pizza, beer, wine, and a free event with Min! The author will discuss PACHINKO with Bo Seo and Nancy Ko, editor and contributor to an anthology of the Korean diaspora based at Harvard, Reflections of Diaspora on a Divided Nation.


Min Jin Lee's debut novel, Free Food for Millionaires, was one of the "Top 10 Novels of the Year" for The Times (London), NPR's Fresh Air, and USA Today. Her short fiction has been featured on NPR's Selected Shorts. Her writings have appeared in Vogue, Travel+Leisure, Wall Street Journal, New York Times Magazine, and Food & Wine. Her essays and literary criticism have been anthologized widely. She served as a columnist for the Chosun Ilbo, the leading paper of South Korea. She lives in New York with her family.


Bo Seo is a senior at Harvard studying Social Studies and English. He was born in Seoul, South Korea and moved to Sydney, Australia at the age of ten. He is currently editing a student anthology of Korean diasporic writing and art. Following graduation, he will study public policy in Beijing as a Schwarzman Scholar.


Nancy Ko is a senior at Harvard studying History. A Brooklyn girl at heart, she was admittedly born on Staten Island. Following graduation, Nancy will study Jewish and Middle Eastern history at Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar.
