IN.FORM Fashion Show

IN.FORM, Boston Arts Academy’s inaugural fashion show showcases over 60 looks designed and fabricated by all four grade levels of the Boston Arts Academy Fashion Technology program. The show consists of 8 different themed segments including Upcycled Fashion, Afro-Latina Style, Activist Fashion, Fantastical Costume, and Sophomore, Junior, and Senior Benchmark Collections. The title of the show, IN.FORM, speaks to informing our community about the work the Fashion Technology program is doing and the form the young program is taking.

The Fashion Technology program will be honoring individuals in the fashion industry in Boston who have had a meaningful impact in business and the community and shown exceptional dedication to supporting the work of Boston Arts Academy.

Honorees include:
• Tonya Chen-Mezrich, Host
• Gerard Riveron, Jewelry Curator
• Samantha Shih, Founder and CEO, 9Tailors

6 p.m. - VIP Reception for Honorees and VIP Guests
7:30 p.m. - Evening Fashion Show

General Admission - $15
VIP Admission - $50, limited tickets available and includes VIP reception and front row seating

Fashion Technology Program
Fashion Technology is a new vocational program at Boston Arts Academy, that equips students with a firm foundation of technical sewing skills, with an emphasis on understanding the fundamentals of design, business, merchandising, sustainability and technology within the fashion industry. Teachers: Elisabetta Polito, Fashion Program Director and Samuel Mendoza, Merchandising and Entrepreneurship.
