Graeme Marsden returns! Costumed reenactor and historian Graeme Marsden represents a typical soldier of the period and describes clothing, accoutrements, arms and tactics and shows how a soldier lived during the Revolutionary War. Graeme recently gave a talk at the TCPL on Ancient Handwriting. Your questions are welcomed.
BIO
Historian Graeme Marsden hails from England where he worked as a scientist at Imperial College in London.
After meeting his American wife-to-be at the Sherlock Holmes pub, they moved to the US in 1976 where he was employed by different companies as a Marketing Communication Manager. A longtime reenactor, he is immersed in the history of the UK and of Boston.
Genealogy Club program series is hosted by The Archives and Special Collections Department. Sessions are free and open to all, and may feature professional guest speakers, an instructional, and various genealogical topics. It is not necessary to attend all sessions to participate.
