Are you looking for new ways to put your music production skills to use? Have you ever thought
about the soundtracks you hear in video games and wonder about how they were made?
Rachel Dziezynski will be giving a crash course on video game music that will teach you about
what it is and how to get started with writing it!
Rachel Dziezynski is a freelance composer and sound designer that loves working on games as
much as playing them. After graduating from Berklee College of Music in 2014, she moved to
Tokyo, where she taught and worked as an assistant to composer Norihiko Hibino. Having
returned to Boston in 2016, she now helps run Game Audio Boston, a local meetup that
promotes game audio and brings together audio professionals, and works at Berklee College of
Music while continuing her freelance work. Her recent projects include music for Puzzleshmup
and sound design for ChemCaper.
