Free Dance Studio present a free beginner 90 minute Carolina Shag workshop. Carolina Shag is a dance from the south with roots in swing. Learn how to integrate the footwork into other forms of swing (lindy, westcoast, etc...). For this workshop we'll teach you the basics of Carolina Shag plus some fun moves. This class is designed for pure beginners so if you've never danced before or have only have a little experience with some 6-count east coast, join us to learn the original, fun, fantastic Charleston dance.
We'll cover:
