Louis, a romantic trumpeter swan, is in love with Serena, but he can't tell her how he feels for he was born without a voice. When he meets young Sam Beaver, a human friend, he goes to school with him to learn how to read and write. And Louis's father also helps out; offering him a brass trumpet to help him discover a voice. In the end, with patience and diligence, Louis learns to communicate through the music of Jazz and wins Serena's heart. E. B. White’s award-winning story celebrates the many creative ways we connect and communicate.


Recommended for adults, teens, ‘tweens, youth and children 6+.


Friday nights at 7:30, Saturday & Sunday matinees at 3:00


American Sign Language and Audio-description are offered on Friday November 20 at 7:30 and Sunday November 22 at 3:00.
