San Diego based Soul vocalist and songwriter Danielle Alexa makes her Boston live debut presented by Hear Now Live & WEMF Radio. The 22-year-old brings a tool kit laden with melodic and memorable soul pop hooks encased in hi-level musicianship to be heard on her forthcoming eponymous debut produced by industry heavyweight Guy Eckstine. She recently released her debut single, “Daydreams.”
Influenced by classic Motown era talent including Stevie Wonder and Diana Ross as well as artists like Chaka Khan, The Gap Band, and New Edition, Alexa connects with music that evokes emotion through both tone and lyrics. Her melody driven sound conveys an array of feelings from upbeat and pop to insightful and heavy. Musicianship is key for Alexa, and she is backed by talented, well experienced musicians.
