Explore cyanotype beyond paper and into textiles in this hands-on workshop focused on printing on fabric!
Class Description
Explore cyanotype beyond paper and into textiles in this hands-on workshop focused on printing on fabric! During this class, students will learn the cyanotype process through hands-on experiments starting on paper and small fabric samples, building an understanding of exposure, composition, and material differences. Then we’ll transition into larger and wearable fabrics, using textiles participants bring from home and provided objects, such as clothing, small bags, and bandanas, to create functional, one-of-a-kind blue prints!
Students will leave with multiple test prints/patches and at least two finished fabric pieces that are ready to wear!
The materials fee for this class is $20. This is separate from the ticket price and is to reimburse the instructor for any tools or materials used in this class. This will be paid once, directly to the instructor at the start of the first class meeting. This instructor accepts Venmo.

While studying at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University, she experimented with alternative photo-printing processes and has been deeply interested in trying new printing methods since. From studying photography in London for 5 months to taking ceramics courses in college, Eve loves learning new art forms and is always looking to find new ways to express herself.
