The Longfellow Summer Arts Festival brings music, poetry, and community to the East Lawn of the Longfellow House on Sunday afternoons through the summer. All events are free and open to the public. This concert is presented in partnership with the Berklee Summer in the City concert series.
Celia Sieckert is a classically trained cellist currently completing her cello performance degree at Berklee College of Music. She has performed as an orchestra member, chamber musician, and soloist in a variety of genres, playing everything from standard symphonic works and cello concertos to musical pit orchestrations and improvised singer-songwriter accompaniments. As her career continues, Sieckert hopes to focus her capabilities in folk and jazz vernaculars while continuing to interpret major works of the classical and contemporary cello repertoires.
