Concert: 250 Years of American Piano Music with Classical Pianist Hua Ye

Celebrate the 250th anniversary of American independence as classical pianist Hua Ye presents a lecture-recital exploring the evolution of American classical piano music over the past 250 years, with a special focus on composers connected to Boston including Amy Beach, Charles Ives, Aaron Copland, Leonard Bernstein, John Cage, and Philip Glass.

Hua Ye (华烨, or Jane) teaches piano lessons at A St. Piano Studio and founded Harbor Harmonies Chamber Music Concert Series with the support of the Fort Point Arts Community, which brings free and high-quality concert music to the Seaport District.

This program is generously supported by a grant from the Mayor's Office of Arts and Culture and the City of Boston.
