Join us for a special screening of Manon of the Spring, the acclaimed second chapter of Claude Berri's adaptation of Marcel Pagnol's celebrated novel. Called a "high-water mark of the French cinema" by The Wall Street Journal, the film is a powerful tale of love, betrayal, revenge, and redemption set amid the breathtaking landscapes of Provence.


Ten years after the tragic events of Jean de Florette, Manon, now a young shepherdess portrayed by Emmanuelle Béart in her breakthrough César Award-winning performance, uncovers the truth behind her father's death. Determined to seek justice, she sets in motion a chain of events that will forever transform the lives of an entire village.


Following the screening, stay for a conversation about Marcel Pagnol's enduring legacy, Claude Berri's remarkable adaptation, and the film's lasting impact on French cinema.
