Please come join us for Chinatown's 2019 Lion Dance Parade in celebration of the Year of the Pig.


This event is for all ages and free to the public.


Chinatown Main Street Cultural Village


A traditional celebration featuring martial artists, brightly colored Chinese costumes worn by lion dancers, and traditional food and music.


Chinese New Year officially starts on February 5th to welcome the Year of the Pig. One of the most popular Chinese New Year activities in Boston is the huge Chinese New Year Parade in Chinatown, accompanied by the Chinatown Main Streets Cultural Village featuring culture and arts demonstrations, book reading, arts and crafting.
