ALLSTON, MA - The Ceramics Program, Office for the Arts at Harvard presents its annual Spring Show and Sale, May 8-11, 2025 at its studio facility at 224 Western Avenue, Allston, Massachusetts. The Ceramics Program’s twice-annual Show and Sale events in May and December feature original ceramic works by over 90 artists affiliated with the program, including instructors, staff, and students. Admission is free and open to all.


Visitors to the Spring Show and Sale will find a wide variety of ceramic artwork ranging from functional pottery to sculptural pieces to ceramic jewelry and home decor items. Artists in the Ceramics Program work in a variety of techniques and styles to create one-of-a-kind ceramic works. In addition, artists donate unique ceramic planters that will be sold separately with 100% of funds from those items directly supporting scholarships to Ceramics Program courses. “This sale is a great opportunity for our artists to showcase and sell their work while also giving back to the program,” said Ceramics Program Director Kathy King. “The funds we raise will help ensure the next generation of ceramic artists have a chance to study and refine their skills here.”


Hours & admission:

The Spring Show and Sale is open 10am – 7pm each day of the sale, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, May 8-11, 2025. Admission is free and open to the public. Visitors are encouraged to browse the selections and meet the artists during this special shopping event. With over 90 artists participating, there will be unique handmade gifts and home accents available for every budget.
