Learn about the science and technology you hear discussed on the news, from the scientists and engineers who work on the newest discoveries!

In the past 40 years, HIV has emerged as a deadly, highly infectious threat. Recent advances in anti-viral therapy have turned HIV from a death sentence to a manageable chronic condition in many cases, but because the virus mutates so rapidly we still have not been able to develop a vaccine or cure for HIV, despite the investment of a lot of money and a lot of brilliant minds. Could there be hope? Come to the talk and find out!

Light snacks and refreshments will be provided!
