A skating rink, tree market, and "warming tent" are coming to the Seaport over the 2019-20 winter season...
SNOWPORT WINTER VILLAGE
Welcome to Snowport, Seaport’s new Winter Village and Boston’s best winter destination. Now open in partnership with Fjällräven & Capital One Café, the interactive winterland features a 3,000 square foot ice skating rink and an array of complimentary winter activities including iceless curling, yoga, themed skate nights, and warm beverages. And there’s even more to come, like freshly baked waffles by The Waffle Cabin, the festive Fjällhäus, and special holiday happenings.
Snowport is here through February 2020; add it to your must-not-miss list and make your winter much (much) more wonderful.
The cost of admission is $5.00 for adults, and $3 for children between the ages of 4 and 12.
The cost to rent skates is $5.00 per pair.
According to Boston Business Journal
, WS Development plans to transform the lot that this summer housed the Cisco Brewers beer garden along Seaport Boulevard into a community ice-skating rink. The rink and accompanying “warming tent” are expected to open in December and remain open through February. The rink will be roughly 100 feet by 60 feet and skaters will be charged a “nominal” fee of a few dollars for entry.
The warming tent is expected to serve alcohol. 🍻
