Come dance the blues in Union Square, Somerville, at Blues Union!


Blues is a family of dances done to different styles of blues music: slow drag, strut, or shake what you've got, to music by artists like Muddy Waters, Big Mama Thornton, and Ella Fitzgerald.


Blues dance lesson: 8:30-9:30pm $5
Open social dance: 9:30-11:30pm $5


The lesson covers the basics of partnered blues dancing, so you can get out on the floor and have a great night, even if you've never danced before.


Anyone can lead, anyone can follow! Dance the role you prefer, with whomever you prefer.
