'Artistry' Fundraiser for Childe Hassam Park

Friends of Childe Hassam Park is excited to once again host our annual fundraiser, 'Artistry', on Friday, May 19, 2023 at Club Café. Childe Hassam Park is located in Boston’s historic South End neighborhood and is named after Childe Hassam, an American Impressionist who who lived steps away from the park. Childe Hassam Park strives to honor the painter and the arts and is beautiful year round. In addition to comfortable park benches, an elegant design and Spring and Summer blossoms, the Park also features a sculpture by Khalil Gibran, another well-known artist with ties to the South End.  

Please join us for an evening of art, entertainment and socializing in support of our beautiful park. We will have appetizers, music, fun photo opportunities, and a cash bar accompanied by a silent suction. The silent auction will feature art work from local Boston artists, gift cards from local Boston restaurants and businesses, and tickets to a local Boston sporting event. About the Friends of Childe Hassam Park

Childe Hassam Park is a public Park, and the City of Boston provides electricity and water. However, park maintenance, upkeep, irrigation, lighting, and beautification are all managed and paid for by the Friends of Childe Hassam Park, a 501(3)(c) non-profit organization composed entirely of volunteers. We strive to make this beautiful park a tribute to Childe Hassam by making it a safe, beautiful community space for interactive family events, arts and musical presentations, and for simply sitting and enjoying.

To keep Childe Hassam Park a welcoming, relaxing community space at the corner of Columbus Avenue and Chandler Street, we rely on and value the support of our community business and neighbors.
