American Ocelot: Feb. 14 @ The Middle East in Cambridge

Valentine’s Day is all about the couples, so it makes sense that American Ocelot is unveiling not one, but two new singles just ahead of the lovers’ holiday. To celebrate, the Boston alt-indie band holds court at The Middle East in Cambridge on Saturday, February 14 for a spirited double-single release party alongside fellow music scene luminaries Girl with a Hawk, Happy Little Clouds, and Galaxy Cake.

The night features four Boston bands that usually headline their own shows, coming together on this winter evening to celebrate life, love, and American Ocelot’s two new harmonic songs. Both take on an upbeat new wave sheen that recalls the propulsive guitar-driven alt-rock and urgent power-pop of the ’80s, all filtered through American Ocelot’s playful modern indie rock lens.

Come party as a couple, or ride solo and hang with friends; this event welcomes all.
