Every August, Boston's North End hosts four major feasts & processions. The 108th Annual Feast of Saint Agrippina kicks the month off with a four-day street festival, and the festivities continue through the last full weekend of August with the 103rd Annual Feast of Saint Anthony!
• 108th Annual Feast of Saint Agrippina
Thu, 8/4 – Sun, 8/7
See the procession, eat some food, play some games and listen to music. VIVA SAINT AGRIPPINA!
Fri, 8/12 – Sun, 8/14
On the second week of each August, the North End celebrates the Feast of Madonna Della Cava, which coincides with the festival held in Pietraperzia, Sicily.
• 112th Annual Fisherman's Feast
Thu, 8/18 – Sun, 8/21
The Fisherman's Feast is an annual event that began in Boston in 1910 and is based on a tradition that goes back to the 16th century in Sciacca Sicily. It is Boston's oldest continuous Italian festival.
• 103rd Annual Feast of Saint Anthony
Thu, 8/25 – Sun, 8/28
The 103rd "Feast of all Feasts!" features colorful parades, religious services, strolling singers, live entertainment, and an abundance of great Italian and American food.
BONUS: Not in the North End, but the 97th Annual Italian Feast of Saints Cosmas & Damian (Fri, 9/9 – Sun, 9/11) in East Cambridge is worth checking out.
