February Vacation Week: LEGO®️ Maritime Festival

When: February 18-26, 10am-5pm

Where: Charlestown 

Cost: Admission by donation

Info: Head to the USS Constitution Museum to learn about maritime history and build your own ship with LEGO® and DUPLO® Bricks. LEGO® masters can even enter their completed ship in a competition.


Presidents Day WinterFest

When: Monday, February 20, 2pm-7pm

Info: Celebrate Presidents Day with an action-packed festival featuring live performances of music and ice sculpting, a fire and ice science demonstration, a Rainforest Reptile show, and much more. After watching the performances, grab a bite from the local food vendors on site. 


Disney On Ice: Frozen & Encanto

Info: Watch in wonder as your child’s favorite Disney characters come alive in this dynamic skating show. Anna, Elsa, and Mirabel will be joined by Disney favorites like Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Donald, Goofy, and more.


Winter Wonders at the Waterworks Museum

Info: Learn how to engineer snowflakes out of pipe cleaners, experiment with the freezing point of water, and experience the lifecycle of a snowman during this dynamic winter event. These activities are recommended for kids age 4 and up. 


Jurassic World Live Tour

Info: Join a team of scientists on Isla Nublar as they experiment with recreating the dinosaur age. When a dinosaur escapes it’s up to you and the team to restore balance. During and after the performance you can get up close and personal with the dinosaurs.

Harvard Museum of Natural History

Where: Harvard Square

Info: The Harvard Museum of Natural History aims to spark curiosity in the natural world among adults and children of all ages. At this interactive museum you’ll learn about the flora and fauna that have shaped our world and how. 


New Hampshire Ice Castles

When: Open daily 4pm-10:30pm

Where: North Woodstock, NH

Cost: $29/per visitor aged 12 and up, $22/per child aged 4-11

Info: ‘Frozen’ comes to life in this magical structure made of ice in Northern New Hampshire. There’s lots of slides, caves, and tunnels for kids to explore, plus sleigh rides and a Frost Bar for the adults. 


Recreation Station on Pappas Way

When: Open daily from dawn until dusk

Where: South Boston

Info: Take advantage of the winter weather (and any snow we get!) by visiting the Recreation Station on Pappas Way. Here you can borrow snowshoes and sleds for seasonal fun, find supplies for crafting the perfect snowman, and snag a few take-home activity kits to keep the fun going. 


Blue Man Group

Info: If you’re looking for an arts experience that will keep your kids engaged, this is definitely it. Blue Man Group is a fast paced entertainment show celebrating music, comedy, and non-verbal communication. There’s something in it for everyone.

Level99: A World of Challenges

Info: Level99 has fun for all ages and all interests. This exploratory complex is packed with escape rooms that challenge your team physically and mentally, a visual arts scavenger hunt, and competitive challenges you can play against other visitors. Plus, there’s pizza and other goodies available next door at Night Shift Brewing. 


Outdoor Ice Skating around Boston

Info: Explore the vibrant literary and American history of the Concord area at this charming and kid-friendly local museum. On President’s Day they’ll have an all ages performance by President Abraham Lincoln himself. 


New England Aquarium
