1) Bar Vlaha
Where: Washington Square
Info: Enjoy the cuisine of the Greek countryside at this cozy neighborhood spot. The menu and cocktail list use ingredients native to the region and the space is designed to feel like visiting yiayias house. Opened in March 2023.
Where: Seaport
Info: Expanding from their first location in East Boston, ReelHouse has opened this cozy oyster bar in the Seaport overlooking the Boston Harbor. On nice days take advantage of the waterfront patio.
Where: Downtown
Info: Enjoy a modernized afternoon tea service at Silver Dove featuring tea-themed cocktails, savory canapés, and an extensive selection of teas. Opened in February 2023.
Where: Central Square
Info: Chef and restaurateur Brian Moy is bringing his contemporary take on Asian Cuisine from Chinatown to Cambridge. This second location of Shojo will feature all the favorites of the first, including the Shōjōnator burger.
5) Barlette
Where: Coolidge Corner
Info: This unique BYOB bar provides an intimate space, handmade mixers, and a multi-course menu of bar snacks. Guests mix their own cocktails or bring a bottle of wine to split. Opened in April 2023.

Info: This popular seafood spot has expanded from the Seaport to Kendall Square, serving up oysters, lobster rolls, and an elaborate crawfish boil.
7) Borrachito Taqueria & Spirits

Info: Order made-from-scratch tacos at the retro taqueria in front and then venture through a freezer door to the hidden cocktail bar at this new spot in the Seaport. Opened in April 2023.
8) Hue
Where: Back Bay
Info: Part speakeasy, part supper club, part bar, Hue offers craft cocktails and American cuisine with an Asian twist in a trendy and tasteful space. Opened in March 2023.

Info: After perusing the museum’s artwork, select a sip from a natural wine list curated by Lauren Friel of Rebel Rebel and Dear Annie. This new spot also offers small bites and beautiful views of the Boston Harbor.

Info: The Medium Rare Lounge, tucked into Encore’s Rare Steakhouse, is a vibrant cocktail lounge perfect for pre-dinner drinks or an after-dinner glass of scotch. Opened in April 2023.
11) Yego Coffee
Where: Somerville
Info: This Rwandan coffee shop in Somerville serves high-quality, ethically sourced coffee and espresso drinks and a selection of pastries. Opened in March 2023.

Info: This popular French patisserie serves authentic croissants, tarts, mousse, and other goodies baked daily as well as coffee and espresso drinks. Opened in March 2023.
13) Park-9 Dog Bar
Where: Everett
Info: At Park-9 Dog Bar you can sip a cocktail and chat with friends while your canine companions play in the indoor/outdoor dog park specifically designed for them. The menu has plenty of artisanal dog treats to offer as well. Opened in April 2023.
Where: Charlestown
Info: After a soft opening in November, Chattermark Distillers officially opened in April. Chattermark is Boston’s only bourbon & rye distillery, craft scratch-made spirits from local ingredients in Charlestown. Grand opening April 2023
15) Across the Border Vegan & Vegetarian
Where: Jamaica Plain
Info: After years of running a successful Tex-Mex food truck, the team at Across the Border has opened a brick-and-mortar restaurant in Jamaica Plain. Don’t sleep on the Cheeto burrito. Opened in February 2023.
16) Back Door Donuts @ Loretta’s Last Call
Where: Fenway
Info: Behind Loretta’s Last Call in Fenway you can get after-hours donuts from the popular Martha’s Vineyard shop Back Door Donuts. The apple fritters taste a little bit sweeter after dark. Opened in March 2023.
