Flonase is a nasal spray used to treat nasal allergy symptoms. To use Flonase properly, first, shake the bottle gently. Remove the cap and prime the pump by pressing it down a few times until a fine mist is produced. Tilt your head slightly forward and insert the spray nozzle into one nostril, aiming it away from the center of your nose. Close the other nostril with a finger and breathe in gently through your nose while pressing down on the pump to release the spray. Repeat the process for the other nostril.
