Brookline Music School (BMS) is a private, nonprofit community school for the arts. We are the oldest and largest cultural institution in Brookline. Founded in 1924, our mission is to awaken and nurture the joy of learning, playing, and listening to music and to create a welcoming musical community for all ages, abilities, and interests. As we approach our 100th anniversary, we continue to develop compelling programs and instruction and ensure that music plays a meaningful and joyful role in the Brookline community.
