The KITCHEN at Boston Public Market, managed by The Trustees, is a community gathering space in downtown Boston that hosts hands-on classes, educational experiences and tasting demos that celebrate the season and promote healthy living in Massachusetts by connecting visitors to the farmers, artisans, lands, and waters of this region. With instruction by professional chefs, we present different cooking styles, cultures, and techniques in our culinary programs, and highlight local craft beer, wine and spirits. We also host a variety of annual festivals, hands-on artisan workshops, and other programs that promote sustainability, health, and wellness.

What do we do? The KITCHEN hosts events, classes and workshops showcasing the bounty of Massachusetts farmers and artisans:

• Hands-on classes showcasing seasonal recipes with “from-scratch” chef instruction
• Skill-building workshops that give in-depth exposure to seasonal topics
• Demos and tastings with farm-fresh ingredients
• Experiences celebrating craft beer, wine and spirits
• Programs that promote health and wellness
• Private classes, workshops and events

How can you join a public class, workshop or event? You can find us inside the Boston Public Market at 100 Hanover Street. We are near Faneuil Hall, across from the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway, and directly above the Haymarket MBTA station at the cross section of the North End, Government Center, and the Financial Districts of Downtown Boston.

Where are we located? We have classes almost every day, for every taste, ability, and interest.
