MLCS is a resilient community hub transforming rescued food into opportunity. Through affordable healthy food, social and housing systems navigation, workforce development, education, and creative spaces, we help families overcome the financial, social, and systemic challenges that put health at risk. We don't simply connect people to resources—we work alongside them to build stability, improve health, and expand opportunity.

Recovering more than 120,000 pounds of healthy food each month, we make nutritious food affordable four days a week while reducing waste, strengthening household financial stability, and investing in healthier, more resilient communities across East Boston and Beyond.
