Cambridge Boston Volleyball Association (CBVA) is an amateur athletic organization founded in 1984 that provides a safe space for recreational and competitive volleyball within metropolitan Boston. The league welcomes all volleyball enthusiasts regardless of sexual orientation, race, gender, creed, religion, or national origin. The league focuses on providing members of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Questioning (LGBTQ) community and the LGBTQ-friendly community a venue to engage in the sport of volleyball. The purpose of CBVA is to promote and develop the sport of volleyball among the LGBTQ and LGBTQ-friendly community in and around metropolitan Boston.
