Hi, I'm Janine and I'm the owner and local guide for JM Walking Tours. I've been a tour guide - off and on - since I was 16. Now I give lively, 90-minute, small group tours of my Back Bay neighborhood. I've been a resident there for 30 years. How is that possible?!

I've done my research and talked to experts. Now I'm armed with fascinating local stories about the development, history and people who made Commonwealth Avenue among the best places in Boston to call home. You'll walk away amazed at the Victorian architecture and how these brownstones changed with the times and were used/are being used as clinics, dorms, hotels, colleges and so much more!
