Boston Zouk on the Docks (ZOTD)
brings you another special workshop and social.
As a reminder we will always provide safe spaces, and invite instructors that welcome same sex and reverse-role dancing.
We want to introduce you to Buddy and Flavia from NYC and Spain. They will teach us another style of zouk called MZOUK, which originated from Spain.
They were trained by the brother and sister team Daniel and Leticia Estévez López from Spiral Dancers.
My first time seeing zouk was seeing a youtube video of Daniel and Leticia dancing to something that was called spiral dance and i was obsessed. I had no idea what it was but loved it and wanted to learn it so bad. I googled it and saw that it was only available in Europe and my heart broke. Years later is when i finally found it in Boston and that's how my journey with zouk began.
