At a beautiful country farmhouse during the summer of 1995, eight gay men come together over three holiday weekends -- Memorial Day, the 4th of July and Labor Day. They share romance, anger, laughter and difficult truths. Terrence McNally's Love! Valour! Compassion! unfolds with great humor as the men address revealing questions of gay identity, self-esteem, the threat of AIDS and male love. Zeitgeist Stage Company brings the Tony-winning play to Boston Center for the Arts, with its themes of love, friendship, fear, pride and acceptance that are just as poignant and relevant today.
