YpM is a community of young singers inspired to excellence through meaningful repertoire, comprehensive musical training, and memorable collaborations and performances. YPM provides high quality instruction in classical choral music as well as performance opportunities and was recently recognized by Mayor Fuller for 50 years of excellence. Under the direction of Robert Barney, our musical director of 10 years, Youth pro Musica has appeared in Boston, Montreal, and New York City, including performances such as Bach’s St. Matthew Passion at Sanders Theater.
Rehearsals are held on Tuesdays 7-8:30 at the War Memorial Auditorium in Newton City Hall, beginning September 21. Auditions will continue until further notice.
