Join Masha for a 4-week series reviewing key postures from all three series of Dr. Loren Fishman’s Yoga for Osteoporosis method. This practice emphasizes strength, stability, and safe alignment, with a continued focus on the spine and hips—areas at highest risk for fracture.
Each session integrates both foundational and more advanced poses, giving students a well-rounded experience. Breathwork techniques will be used to support hold times, regulate the nervous system, and improve respiratory function. Whether you're new to the method or continuing your studies, this series is open to all levels.
What You’ll Gain:
• A deeper understanding of alignment, safe movement and contra-indications
• Tools to strengthen and expand your home practice
• Techniques to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and proprioception
• Confidence with Dr. Fishman’s research-based approach
About the Method:
Yoga for Bone Health was developed by Dr. Loren Fishman, MD. His study demonstrated that consistent practice of 12–24 targeted poses could reverse the effects of osteoporosis and osteopenia, especially in the spine and hips. Featured in The New York Times, Dr. Fishman’s method continues to shape the evolving conversation around skeletal health and aging.

About Masha:
Masha Leuner began her journey into bone health as a brand manager for Citracal, where she co-created the Beauty is Bone Deep campaign—featured on oprah.com. Her interest in women’s skeletal health led her to Dr. Fishman’s innovative work. She later completed her 500-hour yoga teacher training and advanced certification in Yoga for Osteoporosis, studying directly with Dr. Fishman, becoming one of the first instructors in Massachusetts to teach this method. Masha is committed to sharing this work in a way that is accessible, empowering, and grounded in research.
