YIP Spring Academy: Art For A Change

Need a creative, educational program that helps the planet while keeping our young people engaged during April break?

Send them to college! That's right.... college!

Boston middle school students are invited to explore climate change through art and sport, learning about real local hazards and creating work that imagines a safer, more resilient future with the City of Boston's Office of Emergency Management (OEM).

Students will also have an opportunity to create art and participate in youth building through golf with the industry-leading First Tee program throughout April Break.

Through a partnership with Boston Public Schools - Division of Student Support, City of Boston - Office of Emergency Management, First Tee Massachusetts and Lasell University, your young learners have a chance to earn up to two college credits... for free! Selected artwork will be even be featured in a City Hall showcase.
